Why do some management boards think agility wouldn‘t affect them?
Don‘t limit your agile transformation to the “delivery organization“!
You cannot require Product Owners and Product Managers to create clear priorities and goals … and then have 10 “most important“ initiatives on the portfolio level!
Not having clear priorities and focus on the highest level of the organization leads to problems, confusion and conflict on department and team levels.
I know it‘s hard to say “no“ to initiatives. We‘re not trying to be mean – we just know it‘s more effective to focus on fewer things at a time.
Please, make an effort to have clear priorities and focus on ALL levels of your organization.
